That’s the verdict from Max Fehr, who had the chance to test our Evolve FS for BIKE magazine.
For a year, our Evolve FS test bike changed hands. Racer and BIKE tester Max Fehr put our XC bike through a long-term test in 2024, covering over 3,000 km and 72,000 meters of elevation gain. He used the bike for daily rides, training camps, and races.
Unlike his dedication to training, he was rather neglectful when it came to bike maintenance. Especially regarding the slider system, he initially thought: "There's no way this will hold up." But—wrong! The slider and bushings remained unfazed by all the challenges and performed just as flawlessly at the end of the test as they did on day one.
