Dual Pivot Suspension
In our Dual Pivot Suspension System, a slider replaces the traditional linkage and simulates a virtually infinite lever arm. This is exactly what one desires for a suspension system. The system maximizes its advantages even more with long-travel bikes. With the slider, we achieve a highly controllable suspension that initially responds very sensitively and then releases travel uniformly, providing a controlled feeling throughout the entire travel. The high progression makes the system perfectly suited for coil shocks. These positive characteristics are further emphasized.

Kinematics
With the introduction of the Dual Pivot System in the new EXTRA, we come very close to the ideal leverage curve from top left to bottom right. For the nerds among you: In the new EXTRA, we have an AntiSquat value of 104 e.g. 102% with a SAG of 30 e.g. 35%. If you want to know more precisely, you can find more information here.

FlipChip
The FlipChip allows you to switch between full 29" and Mullet setups without compromising geometry or changing the bottom bracket height. The only thing that changes is the chainstay length. In the higher (27.5") position, the bike takes on a slightly more playful character, while in the lower (29") position, it becomes an absolutely efficient (racing) machine.

Stopf-Box
We prioritize enabling you to focus on biking while ensuring you have the essentials in case of an emergency. Designing a storage solution was as challenging for us as developing the frame itself. We went through several iterations in creating the Stopf-Box, but it was worth it. By using two-component material on the lid, we ensured it is weatherproof and free of rattling noises. The two pockets inserted into the downtube accommodate essential items such as a spare tube, tire levers, and a small pump. Your mini-tool can be stored in a small pocket directly attached to the lid, making it easily accessible without having to remove all pockets. Just in case.

Size Specific Geometry
For the new Extra, we meticulously examined each size individually, particularly optimizing the chainstay length for every frame size. This provides you with a balanced riding experience, regardless of your height. Specifically, in the lower 29" position, the chainstays are now longer than before. This allows you to center yourself better on the bike, apply more pressure to the front wheel, and benefit from improved stability at high speeds. However, we didn't just focus on adjustable chainstays; we also made other adjustments. The new Extra could be described as slightly longer and flatter. While the reach has only minimally changed, the stack has increased. A higher front end gives you more freedom of movement, allowing you to better utilize the longer wheelbase while also keeping your front wheel off the ground.

Field of Application
Bike park sessions and enduro races can be quite challenging – for both riders and equipment. Nowadays, enduro races have almost turned into small multi-stage downhill races, and bikes have to endure a lot. The new EXTRA looks delicate and belongs more to the lightweight category among enduro bikes. However, to be able to withstand even the toughest demands, the EXTRA had to undergo the most relentless tests and is now approved for use in bike parks.

Protection
We love our bikes, and that's why every stone chip and rattle hurts us as well. To spare your nerves and protect your Extra, we install our own proprietary downtube and chainstay protection as standard.

Chainguide
Full throttle through the rocky terrain? For those particularly rough days on the bike, we include a chain guide as standard equipment.

Cable Guide
Not new, but simple. The opening in the downtube for the storage box allows us to route the cables through the downtube as close to the main pivot point as possible. At the same time, we took a step back in terms of cable routing: it no longer runs through the headset, but through the steerer tube on the new Extra. Prefer riding your brakes in Moto style? That's also possible with the Extra without any issues.
